Brian is a social worker by profession, a trained sexual and reproductive health counsellor who has been working with adolescents for the last four years by offering them psychosocial support especially to the ones who have had violent childhood upbringings and suffer from anxiety depression, post trauma depression and stress depression, Brian gets paid to do this. On his own volition and initiative, Brian has founded a non-for profit organization called ‘One more percent’ which advocates for one more step in enabling women, girls and adolescents to have the chance to know and have control over their bodies as well as have the knowledge regarding their sexual reproductive rights. Through this initiative, Brian has partnered with a women’s group in slum areas to make reusable and hygienic sanitary pads for girls living in slum areas so as to make their menstrual periods to be a period of comfort.
