Mu’azu is a Founder and Team Leader of Every Girl Every Woman Initiative, formerly the Generation Development Initiative. He previously worked with the USAID-funded Targeted States High Impact Project in Sokoto and Bauchi, of northern Nigeria. The project worked to increase the use of high-impact integrated maternal, newborn, and child health, family planning and reproductive health interventions, and to establish durable bonds between community institutions and the healthcare delivery system, to improve household health practices and increase people's use of health services. Muazu currently works with Maternal and Child Survival Program in Nigeria. His expertise is the building of durable community partnership, evidence-based advocacy, accountability, and behavioral change communication.
